the activity of social assistance in the form we know, plus social activity that is supposed to activate not only people who work for social assistance or social assistance, but it is supposed to activate the entire social environment in various areas. The Center of Social Services is a company that is created through the transformation of the city-state social assistance center, as in our case, we want it to look like or we create a completely new center. We do not have such a need. In connection with such a transformation, there is a need to rebuild completely the rules and functions and the areas of tasks, the entire structure, the entire fabric of the current center of social assistance. It is such a very deep action.
According to the 2019 law, a law that directly talks about how the CUS, i. e. the Center of Social Services, is supposed to function, we must prepare the so-called diagnosis of social needs and potentials. So we have to diagnose what problems are in the city area and the Bleszew communes function and what resources we have to solve these problems or what resources we have to prevent these problems. This diagnosis is usually presented at the City Council to later prepare a social services program in agreement also with the City Council. In the social services program there is a range of conditions, types of services that we will propose, but also conditions for payment. Here, the City Council will already appear, which you will proceed.
Later, there will certainly be changes that are key for the Center of Social Assistance, i. e. the provision of a new statute and completely new functioning, although conditions, or place, or the range of current activities will also be taken by CUS. Why this center, why the Center of Social Services is so important? For one reason, we have a very diverse society, we do not want social assistance to be associated only with the help of someone who does not advise. We want to activate society because we have a serious problem with social withdrawal.
The Center of Social Services is supposed to be a place, a center of one window, where a person who, I will not say that he has a problem, but yes, also comes to the center, speaks about his problem or his range of interests and is directed to a specific place in which either help will be provided or will be directed further so that his range of interests can be filled. It is a modern, certainly innovative approach when it comes to the number of CUS, i. e. centers of social services in Poland, it is more than 50, almost 60 CUS. As part of this project, which we are entering with ROPS, it is to be created this year seven in Wielkopolska.
Together with us, the project includes Dopiewo, Pniewy, Rokietnica, Swarzęc, Szydłowo and Śrem. Several CUSs in Wielkopolska are already working. These are CUSs in Kramsk, Rawicz, Czarnkowie, Trzciance, Rychwale and Jarocin. In this edition, seven CUSs are created, which I have mentioned, which are included with us in this project. Each of these locations can be equipped with funds of 2. 5 million zlotys for the launch or transformation of CUSs. And as I emphasize, at the moment, it is a faculty opportunity. However, we know that changes in social assistance are going in the direction that CUSs function everywhere, often in places, cities, municipalities and social assistance centers. In our situation, there is no talk of any liquidation of the workstation during the transformation.
It is the rebuilding of the center inside, providing new functions with the preservation of old or up-to-date tasks. For you, this will also be something completely new, because we will meet more often at training sessions, maybe and study visits, so that you and you are on the topic, taking into account the next conditions that will already be discussed, which will be related to specific solutions introduced in our CUS. What do we have as part of the project, what do we have a duty to introduce? Well, first of all, to launch CUS, to conduct full documentation, personnel, financial and financial. We have a duty to launch at least four new services, which have not been launched in our area so far.
The governments are different, they deal with it. CUS in Poland offers various services, such as a golden hand, a hair dryer on the phone. We thought about such services, which we know are deficit in our field, such as psychological assistance or a family club in an emotional crisis, or a travel or a mobile rehab. We also thought about cleaning services, but the truth is that the direction of our actions will only indicate the diagnosis of the needs that we will carry out. When it comes to the changes that are related to CUVA, i. e. the joint service center that calculates the financial part, but also the personnel at the moment, the social services center, nothing will change here. This principle of cooperation remains at the same level. What changes in CUVA is only that instead of the city- municipal social services center, the social services center will function. When it comes to funds for this purpose, it is one of the few occasions when we can do it for the funds earned. These 2.
5 million zlotys is the value of the project, of which 90% is financed by ROPS. So I think that such an opportunity as this one is probably no longer suitable. It is more sensible to do it for the funds earned. Besides, we have such a model developed that we earn funds for other activities, for investments. These are crucial funds for us, so it is worth it. It is worth shaping the new reality of social assistance so as not to emphasize the weaknesses of society, but to put on strong sides and these strong sides in some way emphasize and use for the needs of the whole community.
